The **Nakhla Foundation for Development and Care of Motherhood and Childhood** participated in the open meeting hosted by **Mr. Georgios Petropoulos**, Deputy Head of the **United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)** in Syria, held in **Deir ez-Zor Governorate**, with the participation of humanitarian partners and key actors working in the humanitarian sector.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to learn about the latest developments in humanitarian coordination mechanisms in Syria, discuss updates related to the **Syria Humanitarian Fund (SHF)**, and exchange perspectives and experiences regarding the humanitarian challenges, urgent needs, and priority interventions in Deir ez-Zor.
The Nakhla Foundation believes that strengthening coordination and cooperation among humanitarian organizations and relevant stakeholders contributes to improving the effectiveness of the humanitarian response and enhancing the quality of services provided to the most vulnerable communities, ultimately creating a sustainable and positive impact.
