With these words, we planted not only trees in the earth, but also a lasting commitment in our hearts to honor the memory of Syria’s martyrs and those forcibly disappeared.
On June 6, 2026, in the city of Mouhassan, Nakhla Foundation, in partnership with the Caesar Families Association, organized a commemorative event in their memory.
This was not merely the planting of olive trees; it was the planting of a promise of loyalty and remembrance.
Together, we observed a minute of silence and raised prayers in tribute to their souls. We also unveiled this memorial monument as a witness that their stories remain alive in our collective conscience and will never be erased by time.
They will never be reduced to numbers. They are stories that future generations will continue to remember and pass on.
