Today, the team of Nakhla Foundation for the Development and Care of Motherhood and Childhood participated in an awareness training session for staff and mobile teams on the risks of landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW). The session was conducted under the supervision of Handicap International (HI), aiming to strengthen community awareness on prevention methods and safe behavior when dealing with such hazards, thereby contributing to the protection of families, especially women and children.
The Foundation reaffirms its ongoing commitment to building the capacities of its teams and promoting a culture of safety within the community, in support of risk reduction efforts and the creation of a safer environment.
Nakhla Foundation also extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Handicap International (HI) for organizing this valuable awareness activity, and to the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Deir ez-Zor for its cooperation and generous support in hosting this training session.
