Under the slogan “16 Days of Safety Everywhere”
Nakhla Foundation for the Development and Care of Motherhood and Childhood announces the launch of the 16 Days of Activism campaign to end gender-based violence, from November 25 – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women – to December 10 – Human Rights Day.
This campaign aligns with the foundation’s mission to build a cohesive and safe society, raise awareness, protect the most vulnerable groups, and strengthen community efforts to reduce all forms of violence and discrimination, based on the belief that protecting women and girls is essential to building future generations.
❗ Gender-based violence
is a violation of human dignity… and a threat to life.
Raising our voices is the first step toward safety.
What is gender-based violence?
It is any act of violence based on gender, including:
physical violence
psychological or verbal violence
child marriage
harassment
deprivation of education or work
control and restriction of freedom
✋ We resist it by saying: enough.
We protect, support, and empower.
If you are in danger, you can contact us;
we are able to assist you in coordination with relevant local authorities.
“Your dignity is a right… and your protection is our responsibility.”
